I'm still at uni too, but we finish for summer at the end of June so I'm going straight off to Vietnam and also looks like I'm going to be staying in Hong Kong on the way back home too so really excited about that :) When did you get asked about which orphange you would like to go to? I haven't heard anything about that yet... It'll be so good to hear how your trip goes when you get back, but if its terrible don't tell me ha ha

I am going to Ho Chi Mihn to work in orphanages on 2nd July 2010 for 4 weeks and I'm so excited!
Never done anything like this before... well I've done a lot of volunteering with special needs children in my own country and I'm at Uni doing speech and language therapy but I'm sooo looking forward to going to Vietnam.
I noticed you've been on a trip with i to i before, how did you find that?
I was supposed to be going to Thailand to work in a school but it had to be cancelled as there's been a big shake up at the school, but I'm quite glad to be going to Vietnam now.

hi i was in ho chi minh city working with the kid in july i had the best time ever just a tip we found that the team in vietnam where not very good put at the end of the day we all had a such a good time... i loved it so much i just booked my flights back to vietnam today for the end of june ya me!!!!! if u want any more info you can e-mail me a martinpaulbyrne91@yahoo .ie (if anyone see this email oly email me if you are traveling to vietnam)>>>>>>>

If you stay in Hanoi, I'd really reccomend Hanoi Backpackers Hostel. Here's the link: http://www.hanoibackpackershostel.com/
It's a really good location in the centre of the old quarter and they can also arrange trips to Halong Bay, Sapa and Snake Village for you. I did all 3, and they were all great! Everyone's dead friendly there and there's a great atmosphere. Hi Laura, thanks for the friend request :) I see you're going to Vietnam next year - lucky you! I had an awesome time there in May. I was in Hanoi though, and never made it down to HCMC. If you get chance to visit Hanoi I'd really reccomend it, it's a brilliant city. I can also point you in the direction of some good hostels, bars etc if you need any tips! x

Changed the date of my placement, is now June 4th till the 18th 2010, will be doin some travelling in the north later on.
