Hi everyone: I'm part of the Sept 20 lion and tiger project. My doctor advised me that for this area at this time of year, malaria pills weren't needed. I had about 8 shots for Peru last year, and another set of shots this year for Africa. I would imagine I'm all shotted up now. What time are you all arriving at Joburg airport? I get in around 7am on a Singapore Airlines flight. Look for the middle aged lady with red hair and glasses.

I am going on the Lion & Tiger project on the 20 September. I noticed that you were quering about malaria pills. I spoke to my Dr and he said that providing you are not moving around the country where we are staying is a malaria free zone.

Not long to go now.

I went to Joburg 3 years ago to the Lion Park and wasn't advised to get either, so I won't be getting them for this trip.

Hey, its good to hear from you. Me and a friend will be doing the Lion and Cheetah project, we'll be there from the 20th September for 2 weeks, so excited already!
