2010 has most certainly been one of major changes for me. As you see from my journal entries I've been to so many new places and had so many new experiences I pinch myself at times.........so many dreams have come true.
Its suddenly hit me that I only have SEVEN sleeps before I head off to China for 6 months. Emotions are all over the place from super excited to "what on earth am I doing".....interestingly I get similar reactions from different people. Some tell me I'm incredibly brave to completely change my life 'at my age' and others seem to think I have lost the plot!!!
I'm all packed and ready to go- have no idea where this might lead me or what my future might hold BUT I have now realised that Age is merely a number and would encourage EVERYONE to follow their dreams no matter what their age. We all have something to offer each other on the roads we travel..................young or not so young lets all get out there and have fun!!

Wow Kate - you are certainly my kind of girl!! Everything you say about different people's reactions rings a bell with me although most of my friends do think I've lost the plot. There have been huge belly laughs at the thought of how I am going to be able to squat over a toilet and numerous requests for photo's of said act! (weird lot of friends, I know!).
Six months away eh? That's fantastic. I shall watch your reports with enormous interest. I still have seven weeks until I leave for India and am busy sorting out all the loose ends. I am away for 11 weeks and, like, you, can't wait.
I don't want to look back on my life and think 'was that it?'. I intend, like you, to make the time count and look back on great memories
