About Me
I bought my family up on 100 acres in northern NSW. Where we had an organic listed farm for 17 years before moving to Brisbane. My first 6 years in Brisbane I worked in Aged Care and then went into water filtration. At the same time I was working part time on teaching Belly dance & drumming. I have been a Middle Eastern dance and Egyptian drumming teacher now for 15 years and recently became qualified to teach yoga. This has given me a new direction in life. You learn to think more about others and be more giving and compassionate. Which has led me down the path to become an English teacher.
I just love to travel. To be able to live and become absorbed in local culture and watch how the local community live day to day is a dream come true for me.

Hope you don't mind but I'm shamelessly begging for votes as the closing date for voting is fast approaching (in 4th place right now!) and SO many people seem to not be able to vote I need extra extra votes!!
This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. Hi Jill - I saw you will be in Nepal on the monasteries placement next March, I've just booked to go too so wanted to say hello! I'm starting on 21st March.
Hi - wow check you out going to Nepal, that's awesome! My next adventure will probably take me to the US, Phoenix Arizona which should be interesting...
