About Me
Hi there! My name is Jenny I live near Sacramento, Ca. Currently I am attending a community college and I am majoring in Liberal Studies to become an elementary school teacher. But I have always wanted to do alot of traveling and that is why I am intrested in i--to-i's TEFL program and teaching abroad. I think I would gain alot from the whole experience. I'm so excited to do this and to also travel and donate my time to help others. I think that i will learn more from the children and people in the community than I would ever have learned from reading or being in a history class. I look forward to meeting people on this site who have either done the TEFL program, or have done alot of traveling so I can listen to their experiences, also people who are intrested in TEFL like me. If you have any questions for me feel free to ask. =]

Hope you don't mind but I'm shamelessly begging for votes (in 5th place right now!)
This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. Hi Jenny, thank you for your friend request. I completed a weekend TEFL course in December, but seems that I'll have to do it again when I volunteer in Thailand because I haven't got a degree and its the first time I've done anything like this so I'm struggling to find paid work. I don't mind though, but I will speak to the advisors before I book to ask what they suggest. The volunteer project does looks so worthwhile and I'd feel safer knowing that there's an airport collection and people on hand to ask for any help!

Yeah, do lots of reading around the areas your looking at. Make sure it suits you, especially if your going for a while. Last thing you want is not to enjoy it, especially with the cost!
Yeah! very excited! Im doing TEFL online, so no classes for me! How long do you want to go for? The TEFL course is included in the cost of the trip for the one that we are doing, which is just over £800 in total and includes accomodation and a bunch of other stuff and you can pay it in chunks. Guess it depends what your looking for?
