This Lonely Planet article (http://www.lonelyplanet.com/travel-blog/community/?p=593) on tipping has got us thinking about tipping etiquette around the world.
We know that not all of you will come across this dilemma on your travels, but tipping is a hot topic, both at home and abroad...
So, Campfire travellers, do you always tip, or do you only reward good service? Do you have any tips for tipping in particular countries or do you have any good stories of tipping mishaps?
It'd be great to hear from some of you, so post your opinions and vote in the poll!

i am a waitress in Australia - its rare that we get tips- probably every 20th customer will tip us, and normally if we have gotten $5 from a table worth $100 were doing well - so when i travel i need to remind myself that tipping is almost expected in most other countries. but i dont tip much as usually i am so very very poor...
Well if i tip, i usually take out all the big value coins and leave in everything else, then at least you leave something, something is better than nothing in my book.
But only if the service is ok, just tip like you would at home (well not at home, i wouldnt tip my mum for making me a sarnie!)
I always find it really tricky to decide whether or not to tip while abroad - and how much?! Is it 10%, 15%?! It's a minefield!
