Last but not least! In the final profile of our superstar Ultimate Blog finalists we catch up with littlehobo, who reckons to travel is to live (http://www.i-to-i.com/campfire/littlehobo/posts/1130-To-travel-is-to-live- )...
Name?
Sol Ann Ruston, (Sarah to my parents). Or Sollipop or Solarium or Solomon Grundy or Solstice or... you get the idea!
Age?
I'm 26, just. 26 is the year, I can feel it!
Where are you from?
I'm from Swindon in the south of England. I escaped to Manchester 7 years ago and still love it here, but I'm getting itchy feet again.
What do you do?
I work as a sales assistant for minimum wage and it sucks. I feel like I have so much more to offer the world and don't know how to offer it yet. I haven't found my niche! I've got a degree, good Maths and English skills, am a good communicator, put the human race and the Earth we inhabit very high up on the agenda, yet because my degree is in Drama and I have piercings and dreadlocks the world doesn't take me too seriously. It's okay to have achieved nothing by the age 25, I'm still a kid. But 26? I gotta start putting back into this world what I've been taking out. I've decided that this is the year that I stop having a job and start finding a career. I want to get paid for doing my favourite things so I need a job that combines singing, teaching, writing, travel and helping people. Any ideas? Answers on a postcard please!
Name the top 5 places you've been to in the world:
1. Tampere, Finland
I got the opportunity to live here for 3 months during the final part of my degree. It gave me fresh eyes. I had never envisioned that a country exists without crime, vandalism and homelessness. The future of their children is always in a Finn's mind, and nothing is ever done to harm their country or the next generation that will live there. Nobody even crosses the road unless the green man is showing! And besides all this, this country was the first place I truly felt welcome apart from my own. The Finn's are all so funny and kind hearted, drink like fish, and know how to work hard and party harder!
2. Frenaros, Cyprus
Just a week away in a little village in Cyprus with my almost estranged Mother - it turned into a beautiful yucky Mother/Daughter bonding experience and I'll never forget it. Thanks Mum =)
3. Stonehenge, England
Summer Solstice 2005. This was the day that changed my life. To cut a long (and very cliched) story short: I watched the most beautiful sunrise over 20,000 people. Punks/rockers/hippies/townies/druids, black/white, old/young - all going ballistic for the Sunshine. It all clicked. Doesn't matter who you are, where you're from, or what you believe in. At the end of the day all we have is the Earth we live on, the Sun that brings us life, and we have each other. Period. So that's the day my name changed to Sol, my ideal career went from film-maker to peace-keeper, and my favourite colours went from black and red to yellow and orange!
4. Barcelona, Spain
My first real trip alone. Emotional and eye-opening, and very, very rewarding.
5. Madrid, Spain
A real party city. What can I say? Everybody likes to let their hair down and party party once in a while!

The lovely travellers of Campfire should vote for you because...
I'll never get another opportunity like this. I officially live below the poverty line in England and could never afford something like this. This trip would be THE trip that changes my life. The starting point. The changing point. Sort my head out, start moving in the right direction-point.
Are you offering people any particular incentives to vote?
I'm afraid I have nothing to offer you except a lifetime of good vibes, love, happiness and gratefulness. Is that a word? On a more serious note though, I have come to lay my hands on 180 full size mint Aero bars (ask me no questions I'll tell you no lies). So, a vote for me = a mint-chocolatey treat! Go on, vote for the underdog! What's more rewarding than knowing you've pushed the underdog through to the forefront, helped her win, and helped change her life (and hopefully, many more in her future).
Finally, what would winning this competition mean to you?
This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. A way to make new connections, spark new possibilities, and give light and hope. A trip to expand and explore, my location and my own mind. A trip. Of a lifetime. PLEASE VOTE FOR ME!
Fancy an Aero? You can vote for Sol's entry here http://www.i-to-i.com/campfire/littlehobo/posts/1130-To-travel-is-to-live-
