While much of this common sense advice is in agreement with common sense (handy that) I find the overall tone of this article a bit alarmist! He should have stuck with his first point - take all the usual precautions you'd take at home - but showering with your money belt? That's paranoid.

Furthermore, 'It’s advisable to carry your money in a money belt and fasten it well on your waste' seems a bit nonsensical. Trash has a habit of being thrown away and in this case your money with it!! Literal-thinking travellers beware!
