Hi everyone, i thought i would start my blogging early. Im leaving on a jet plane this saunday for two weeks in South Africa living with lion cubs!
It's my first solo trip so im really nervous, more so about the airport palava than anything else.
I have contacted the people going at the same time and have luckily arranged to rendezvous with one fellow traveller in Paris airport before we fly on to Joberg.
I have spent the last 3months plotting and planning away to make sure i have everything i could possibly need and have gone through more lists than i care to remember. Unfortunately i have ordered 3 pairs of cargo shorts off the internet only one of which fitted me (oh the perils of internet shopping!) so i now face a last minute dash to tesco to see if they have a cheap alternative; But otherwise i think i am ready.

I really cannot wait to get there, partly so i can stop worrying that i have my tickets and passport and insurance and money and bag packed with everything, but mostly i just can't wait to hug lions!!

Im taking i-to-i advice and bringing a notepad so i can keep a diary of my time there, so i will be frantically blogging updates whenever i get the chance, so watch this space........
