Hope you don't mind but I'm shamelessly begging for votes as the closing date for voting is fast approaching (in 5th place right now!) and SO many people seem to not be able to vote I need extra extra votes!!
This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. A way to make new connections, spark new possibilities, and give light and hope. A trip to expand and explore, my location and my own mind. A trip. Of a lifetime. PLEASE VOTE FOR ME!

IM OFF TO KENYA NEXT WEEK WAAAAAAY
hmmm I've never heard of that bank card so it might be worth having a look on their website to see for sure. But there are plenty of international banks like Barclays where it should work? I wouldn't travel without one of the mosquito pens to dab on your bite once you get bitten as they do come out at night and eat you! you can get them from pharmacies, the one I like is called After Bite? glad to hear you've packed the binoculars! you'll have so much fun!
Hi Andy,
No you're doing fine, don't freak out! Mombasa has plenty of supermarkets and shops so there's nothing that you can't buy over there. Just give yourself enough time to start looking forward to it! that's the most important thing :) there's nothing that I really missed but don't go overboard on clothes as you can easily wash them at the volunteer house :)
Hey Andy, yeh great, will see you there...soon EEEK! :-)
no worries Andy! I never get bored talking about Africa! have a think about the train, it was so much fun and a great way to see more of Kenya in a short time. loads of tourists take it and by themselves too. talk soon!
