I'll be in Goa which isn't too far away. I arrive in the middle of July for 6 weeks until the end of August. I haven't had anyone reply to my discussion topic that they'll be in Goa at the time I'm there! I was hoping to chat to some people before I leave and maybe see if anyone wanted to head up to Dehli or something for a weekend and do the touristy thing!!

Hi Amanda. Have you had any luck getting in touch with people going to Goa? I'm not too sure which places I'm going to visit yet. So busy with work and an essay I haven't had much research time yet!
Rachel, it was nice reading your blog and I saw your pictures. Gets me a bit excited but mainly scared! I emailed for a buddy list but could only give me the details of one person (who I haven't heard back from yet!). Other people will be there but on different projects. I was hoping to find someone on my flight!

I'm sorry the person you've contacted hasn't got back to you yet :( Hopefully some other people doing different projects will see this post and get in touch. Have you posted on our facebook page too? You might have some luck on there too!
Don't be scared, you'll have an amazing time and be really well looked after by Rakhi and her team :)

Heard back from him now. I was secretly hoping he would be on my flight but I'm flying from Heathrow and he's in Australia! I'm on the facebook page too but not come across anyone else going to Kerala : ( I went to my docs the other day but they haven't given me anti-Malaria meds. Is that normal? Anything I read from i-i tends to recommend them. Also should I get a mosquito net to take with me? I'm sure I will think of lots more questions for you Rachel seeing as you've been! Thanks

I think I emailed you - hope you got the message. My daughter Rachel and I will be flying out to Kerala on 6th August, ready to start our project on 7th. Are you staying in Cochin? We are flying from Heathrow. I have emailed Rakhi in Cochin and she says we don't need mosquito nets, although we will need lots of insect repellant! I bought nets too, but think i won't take them, as most of my baggage limit will be taken up with imodium, rehydration salts and anti bac gel!!!! We didn't have malaria tabs as the travel nurse said they weren't necessary for Kerala. Are you feeling nervous? Which project are you on?

Hi Jasmin. I'm off to Kerala on 16 Oct till end Nov. Can't wait
