Has anyone volunteered in Bali? I'm a first time traveller, so have never done any volunteer work before, and was thinking of holidaying to Bali and volunteering teaching english (and surfing!) early 2012. Any suggestions or tips? It sounds so exciting!

I am heading to Bali in August for the Teach and surf trip for six weeks. Did you end up going? If so would love to hear about it.
