heyy is anyone else heading off to China- Xi'an in October?? ma project runs from the 1st October till the 29th October, then hopefully go travelling around to see the rest of the country after....bit nervous....it would be great to know someone else who is going at the same time. :)

heyy :)...Im going to be on the project called community work with children, so I will mainly be in orphanages. Oh yes, that would be great! what are your plans for after the 15th Oct? i want to see the country or atleast visit a few more cities after i finshed my project.

We are also thinking of travelling around china after we have finished the project!

I'm off to Xi'an on 30th September until 16th October on the community work with children project

Heyhey i know this is a little 'off topic' but are airports in China taking Biometrics i.e Fingerprints off you guys when you enter?
Any info you have would be great thanks!

Hey! I'll be in Xi'an from the 21st Oct to 18th Nov. I'll be volunteering as an English teacher in a school out there. Am hoping to travel a little in the weekends. Would love to see Beijing while I'm there :)

I'm there now! Here until the 11th November so if your at the apartments and not the university then I'll see you soon! I hope you are here as everyone else is working with the pandas so they only stay at the apartments during the week can be a little lonely. I really want to go to Beijing too perhaps we can arrange something together if you are here?

Oh my goodness, you don't know how relieved I am to know that someone will be where I am! I have no idea what to expect so am not nervous at all. Three days until my flight so maybe it will kick in when I get to the airport. As far as I know, I'm in the apartments too :) What's the temperature like? Look forward to meeting you!! YAY!

Sarah thats Great news can't wait to meet you too! The weather varies it can get quite chilly at night and when it rains it rains! Tshirts during the day are fine though. Have a great flight & see you at the weekend x
