Hi Aaron & Sophie I'm also heading over to Kenya to work on the Nakuru Building in underpriviliged communities project. Although I'm not over there until the first week in October and traveling right through to end of November.

Hi, i'm going from the 24th July to the 14th August to work with children in one of the special centres near Mt Kenya. We're not on the same project but will probably bump into each other quite a lot as i'm sure the programmes will overlap!

Just got back from Kenya and would recommend Mount Safari's Adventure www.mountsafaris.com
I booked everything with Jeremiah and he helped customize my trip and was extremely flexible. We went up mt kenya on the chogoria/sirimon route and for the safari we did 3 days in Masai Mara 3 days was just enough and we saw almost every animal. Everyone with the company was very professional and I highly recommend looking them up if you are heading to Kenya.

kenya was amazing i highly recommend it! As far as tips go just enjoy it! there will be plenty of people there to show you around and fill you in on how things work. if anyone is staying with Margaret she is lovely and her kids are great including an ADORABLE baby! I also recommend you do as many excursions as you can - the 3 day safari is great and lake Nakuru has rhinos. Have fun!!
