Hope you don't mind but I'm shamelessly begging for votes as the closing date for voting is fast approaching (in 4th place right now!) and SO many people seem to not be able to vote I need extra extra votes!!
This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. A way to make new connections, spark new possibilities, and give light and hope. A trip to expand and explore, my location and my own mind. A trip. Of a lifetime. PLEASE VOTE FOR ME!

Well, if I win the Ultimate blog contest I'll be going to Thailand :P (my entry: http://tinyurl.com/mydream22)
Travelling without your parents is tha bomb! I went to Austria, Bulgaria, England and France without them and I have to say each time has been an adventure :P
And don't be nervous, it's not as scary as you may think it is. I remember the first time I went on a plane without them, I had no idea what was going on. I was afraid I'd lose all my luggage and have to crawl back home with my tail between my legs. But my biggest tip would be to just smile and ask for help (airline people and random kind strangers are much more helpful than you may think).
Hi Georgia, welcome to campfire!
I've only been to Thailand briefly, on a 6 day stopover en route to Sydney quite a few years back. So I'm afraid I don't have any useful tips for you! Let me know if you decide to go to Vietnam... I'm full off silly bits of info then!!
Hope you don't mind me asking, but I was hoping you could spare a minute to read my Ultimate Trip blog, and rate it using the stars at the bottom if you like it. I'd be really grateful!
