Hi Gemma, i'm on the community project from the 17th of October for 2 weeks, and i've been told we work with the sea turtle project a lot

hey :) my name is lavender rockson and ul probs find me on fb :) i went to sri lanka for a month and it was my first time alone away too n im also 18. u dnt need to be scared... the other volunteers and i-to-i workers will take care of u :)

i worked with kids for 3 weeks and with turtles for a week. the beach and accomation u are going to is awesome :) that is the most popular accomadation so u will not be alone !

I advise that due to the humidity dnt pack any jeans pahahahaa :P and loose clothes :) as well dont change ur money into US Dollars because u actually get more for sterling (pounds) with the exchange rate :D

p.s it is not so clean as england so bring hand sanitiser and wet wipes (wet wipes can be hard to find sometimes and dont waste your money on purifying tablets for water as bottled water is dirt cheap there :)
