I'm booked for volunteer English Teaching at Koh Tao Thailand for 12 weeks from 15 May 2009 to 7 August 2009 and would love to hear from anyone else who will be there over this period. Any information you can give my would be great, especially if you have been there recently as a volunteer. I haven't done any English Teaching before and have just started the TEFL online course. I live in Sydney Australia....

Mae Sai Thailand

I'm booked to go to Mae Sai on 20 March 2009 and would love to hear from anyone who has been there recently, is there now, or is booked to go soon. I will be there for 7 weeks (eek!!) doing volunteer community work. Not sure if this is too far off the beaten track so would really appreciate any feedback I can get from recent volunteers or even visitors.

Hope you don't mind but I'm shamelessly begging for votes (in 5th place right now!)

This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. Good to hear from you. Ill send tom an email I think, itll be good to get to know people a bit before we get there. Im really excited about going to thailand! :) are all of the volunteers put together then? i dont really know how it works and whether we'll be living together, or even if we'll spend any time together at all.
