Log in to leave a comment or Create an accountHi Nick, I'm working for i-to-i in Toronto. We're trying to get the brand recognized here. It would be great if you could support our newly launched facebook page titled: i-to-i Canada eh.
So, I'm just curious- have you met many Canadians in Costa Rica? What seem to be the most popular volunteer trips!?
Brittany
Hey
I've booked to do my Padi course at Rich Coast Diving, in Playas Del Coco. Once i've finished my i-to-i trip im off travelling in that direction of Costa Rica.

Matt
Hey Simon,
I hope you are looking forward to your trip!
Dont worry there are plenty of people arriving in Costa Rica on 7th march too - and I am guessing that they are also nervous! Although you are here for longer, there is always someone else placed in San Ramon so you wont be lonely.
You will be here over "semana Santa" so it is worth planning what you will do for that week as it is unlikely that there will be much work to do - especially on holy friday and easter sunday. It is a really busy time of year so hotels and tours will need to be booked in advance.
please let me know if you have any more questions!

Hi, I'm doing the Costa Rica housebuilding for 5 weeks starting march the 7th, I'm getting a 'lil nervous of what to expect, are there other volunteers on the project with me at during this time? Will there at least a few English people around i can chill with after the project? Are there any topics up for costa rica around this time, i cant seem to see much evidence of people being out there for the period i am :/.
Hiya
Hope you don't mind but I'm shamelessly begging for votes (in 5th place right now!)
This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. A way to make new connections, spark new possibilities, and give light and hope. A trip to expand and explore, my location and my own mind. A trip. Of a lifetime. PLEASE VOTE FOR ME!

hey i was just wondering because my ultimate costa rica trip has basically been cancelled...i am warming to go on the volcano, beach and building project..i was just wondering are they there like any exciting activities that i can do on the weekhend for EG. canopying through the forest or waterfall hiking, visiting turtle projects etc etc same as the ultimate trip to keep me occupied for the weekhend? thanks a bunch
Hi Nicki,
Thanks for your message. You mentioned that there would be four other people around Palmeres the time that we will be there, are you able to tell us who that will be (just incase they are on campfire!) as I would like to get to know people. Will there be opportunity to meet up even if we are not on the same Project? And also, where can I get some further information about the family we will be staying with as I feel a little unprepared!

Hi Nicki, I'm doing the community children's project on aug 2nd for 4 weeks - so excited, just a bit concerned that my spanish won't be good enough! Are there any other volunteers doing the project at the same time as me?
