Teaching in Nepal

Hey everyone, I have finally taken the big plunge...& I will be teaching in Buddhist monasteries in Nepal for 12 weeks (!) in May next year. I am so excited, if anyone else has been to nepal or planning on going around the same time get in contact would be great to talk about it with my fello volunteers!

Hope you don't mind but I'm shamelessly begging for votes as the closing date for voting is fast approaching (in 4th place right now!) and SO many people seem to not be able to vote I need extra extra votes!!

This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. Oh yeah I have that done already, that was one of the first things I got sorted. Pretty much now I think all I have to do is get all my stuff (backpack, net etc...) and pay the trip lol. When you go away with i-to-i do you bunk in with other members?

I feel the same way about my times in Africa, good on you! Once you find a place you love, you're addicted to it! I can't wait to go somewhere again. I'm going to Cyprus next but that's just a much needed sun holiday, after that, who knows? Maybe I'll try Asia too!

I think because I'm only going for 4 weeks I just pay for the visa on arrival. I'll have to check that up. Whats a Cbc check or what you said I can't remember too much windows open on my laptop x

Wow! You'll be teaching in Nepal? I'm so jealous! I would love to go there. We had a project going on there - we helped with the plans to build a day-care centre and it should be ready by now, but I'm not going to be able to see it :(... All I have are the pictures on Nabuur.com...

Kudos for taking the plunge and doing what you love - I've finally taken the big leap too. All I need now is for some luck and a some votes on my blog :P
