once upon a time,...there lived a girl who believed in justice with all her heart. sadly for this poor young 'un she lived in ireland....an island....where exploring the country is about exciting as staring at a lump in the ground, covered in moss and being told by ones mother that its a mesolithic biractional ( or something along those lines...) burial site....

this girl ( lets call her bubbles ) had a motto, it was " dont tell me the skys the limit when there are footprints on the moon..." Bubbles spent her nights dreaming of a differant life and her days studying to get it! her dream was simple,...study a course called international development and food policy ( focused on third world development), do a TEFL course, volunteer and make a differance. Bubbles wished everyday it would come true,...she wanted to help people who were hit so hard by poverty. Bubbles wanted to change the world.

from an early age bubbles had known the only life for her was away from the rainy weather of Ireland where she spent many an excellant (not!) day being soaked at odd intervals...mainly whenever she stepped foot outside the door! in Ireland she bought a school like map and stuck pins in the places she wanted to go. she imagines her other life,...her dream,...a trip that lasts a lifetime and would doubtlessly give her many a memory to shock her family at home with ( especially her mother,..who dreamed of her being a doctor...unfortunately for her mother bubbles was always afraid of blood...:O ) !

bubbles wanted to scream from the top of kilimanjaro, sprint down a hill in some odd part of the world, she wanted to swim in the amazon, laugh in brazil with locals, dance in peru, motorcycle in the steps of che guevara, she wanted to travel through Africa and meet distant relations in Zimbabwe, she wanted to teach poor children in vietnam english, she wanted to sing with homeless people, inter rail through europe and sleep in a tent, she wanted to skydive in spain, trek through deserts in australia, go to the ultimate adventure park in new zealand, she wanted to go to the antaartic, the moon and everywhere possible, she wanted to visit japan, and finland and texas, she wanted to live in mexico in the vibrant heat and wear coloured beads around her neck, she wanted to fall in love in italy, stand in a crater should she could shout and hear her echo again and again! bubbles wanted to helicopter over the grand canyon with a bunch of poor children who would otherwise never see it, she wanted to feed the starving in africa and make a long term plan for them at the same time, bubbles dreamed of doing all these things,...or just simply making a differance. She wanted to see her reflection in the pacific and bungee jump of bridges, she wanted to cry on the phone to her mother to tell her about the amazing things she saw that week. but most of all bubbles didnt want ireland.

but bubbles is still in Ireland, she has only been to italy for one week and france for another,...she wishes more than anything she could win this compedition, and be assured she wouldnt waste the opportunity.

once upon a time there lived a girl...in an island,..cut off from her dreams,...surrounded by the myth of leprechauns and fairies she dreamed of a day when she would truly see something of wonder....when she could help save a persons life and finally be happy. bubbles studys everyday,... she doesnt want luxury or a beach holiday in a resort with a pool, she wants the real deal....this is her chance, please vote!
