1. Lakshadweep Islands - Maldives without the pretension (and expense) - apparently!
2. Spiti, India - bordering with Bhutan and Ladakh the images look stunning and great trekking
3. Northern Pakistan - mountains, great people and not too many Westerners - brilliant
4. Iran - everything I hear about travelling in Iran is good and any country demonised by the West is usually fascinating, friendly and a huge amount of fun
5. Democratic Republic of Congo - a lifelong dream to do the Kinsangani - Kinshasa river trip
6. Central Africa Republic - no idea why but that in itself is usually a good reason
7. Newfoundland - met a grand total of 4 people from here (!)and all have been a huge amount of fun. If everyone else is anything like as much fun then must be a fantastic place.
8. Kashgar - if only to see the camels
9. Burma - once Aung San Suu Kyi if free
10. Anywhere Leeds Utd are playing - well it would be a place and would involve travelling wouldn't it!

We all have our crosses to bear but following Leeds has at least uncovered some 'interesting' parts of England!
Democratic Republic of Congo, the Kinshasa river trip would be an amazing travel experience! Not so sure we'd all agree with the Leeds Utd dream though!!
After seeing images yesterday also would like to add the Chocolate Hills in the Philippines - looked amazing
The Valley of a Thousand Hills in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Trust me - its the most beautiful place in the world!
I've been to Newfoundland: it's great! Friendly people, beautiful scenery and lots and lots of biting insects. You can't have everything.
I still really want to visit:
Chile - such a variety of different landscapes
Macchu Picchu - it has to be done, really
Bhutan - a real off-the-beaten-track type of place
Tasmania - seems like a different side to Australia
And just about every other country on the planet. So many places, such little time.
i would like to go to Kazakhstan. . .Niiiiice!
