My name is Alana and I'm from Florida. I just graduated highschool and I'm heading to Sydney, Australia in less than two weeks for the working holiday! I am SO excited to be taking a gap year before college, and what could be better than spending that year in Australia?!

Hope you don't mind but I'm shamelessly begging for votes as the closing date for voting is fast approaching (in 4th place right now!) and SO many people seem to not be able to vote I need extra extra votes!!

This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. I'm your first friend? Awww that's nice! I wouldn't say I do a lot of travelling as I have to work (for i-to-i), but I do as much as I can during my holidays! This year been to the Dominican Republic, Portugal, Germany and France so far - I'm sure there's time to squeeze more travel in before the year's out though! How about you? What are your plans?!
