I need ideas on how to raise some funds?
I would like to travel to Costa Rica in 2010, and want to organize funds to be able to take needed clothing, school equipment and other necessaries items with me. If you can share any ideas of how I can accomplish to raise about $5000.00 I would really appreciate it. Gracias Vivian

make yourself some posters and ask in local shops and schools for donations< im sure you'll get way more than you can take but charity shops will benefit :) good luck vivian

By the way, if you're thinking of going on an i-to-i trip, there's no need to feel that you have to bring lots of school equipment or clothes for the kids with you - just you being there and the practical support you bring is enough!
