Hey guys,

Time for another quick installment...

I realised I didn't tell you guys about my birthday celebrations!! Well, it was on the wednesday and we went to a nice restaurant called pilipili, I had fried beef and rice done very well and I know everyone else enjoyed their food too...it was nice that I had people to celebrate it with even though I'm in a different country and away from family. Thanks for all my messages guys :) it made my day! Hannah bought me a cake and the guys at the restaurant decorated it with my name and lots of cream and coloured sugar to make it look lovely...and then when I tried to blow it out I realised they had indestructable candles on it too! lol.

I went dancing on the saturday with my hosts and co, was really good fun. Am going dancing tonight I think as well.

The children at New Hope have had exams this week so they were glad to finish at lunch time today and get to go home! We went back to the orphanage and I just hung out together and had fun. I taught them their second salsa lesson, they're getting pretty good now! They taught me a few things too, a song and a clapping game too. Tomorrow if the weather is nice we're going to play rounders on the beach, hope they'll have fun.

I've been talking to the guys that run New Hope about what the kids need and we've agreed that I'll help them get some new PE kits coz theirs are falling apart. Some of them have holes in enough that there are more holes than material so I can't wait for them to get new ones. Hopefully they'll get the tshirts before I go and then they can send me a picture once they've got it all and send it on for us to see. I've bought them pens as well as they ran out and exercise books which they're always in need of. Their needs are simple but its a joy to be able to help with what you can.

Anyway, thats enough for now, I've gotta go home for my tea but I'll update you after the weekend on our adventures...I have a feeling that all 30 odd of us will end up going in the same matatu to the beach, should be a laugh :)
