Look at all the community based projects with kids, these dont require anything TEFLY! there are really good community projects in Cambodia working with orphans, Vietnam, china, thailand - hill tribe children, a child protection home in Nepal.... just search the website for working with children... hope this helps a little!

Yes, Vietnam! I went in May, it's brilliant. I did this trip:

No TEFL required as it's at a project for special needs kids and so no teaching involved - just playing with the kids and helping out at mealtimes etc. Hanoi is great too as there's loads to do when you're not at work :)
