Jambo!
We just received the latest version of the newsletter direct from Tumaini and we found the following request useful if anyone has any spare space in their luggage:
Joan has given us a request - If anyone has a few bob and some space in their suitcase. Joan prints off her own flyers about the Home and requires ink cartridges to do this. They are very expensive in Kenya so - again, if anyone has some spare cash and space, could they take over ink cartridges Nos. HP 350 and HP 351. Thank you very much.
Joan is the founder of the home and spends every minute of her life thinking of ways to improve the children's quality of life. I met her when I went to Mombasa in March this year and she was someone I've wanted to meet since I started working at i-to-i. I'm not going to go all cheesey and say she was an inspiration because Joan doesn't like a fuss over her, but I really enjoyed meeting her and have a lot of respect for her.
If anyone wants me to forward a copy of the newsletter just let me know!
Katie

I am going to Tumaini in 3 weeks time and would love a copy of the newsletter if possible? Or any other info for that matter. :)
