What an awesome experience :D I'm thinking of going on this trip would you highly recommend it and also how much of the lions did you see ? x

Clive sent me an email with this photo and he wrote the following:

"As for just one picture, the attachment brings back memories of one other encounter with the pride.

We had been tracking them all afternoon ~ no sighting. They seemed to be resting up deep in the bush where it was too dense to consider trying to off-road.

So we pull back about 1k along our track to have a short coffee stop before returning to see if they were on the move.

So there we were standing around at the back of the vehicle enjoying our cups of coffee and drinking chocolate when Bernet, in a low voice. just said "Guys ~ put drinks down ~ back on the vehicle ~ low profile"

You respond without question. A need stressed during the Leo orientation meeting. Then, on resuming a sitting position, you look around to understand why the instruction had been given. Camera out ~ click. The pride had wandered into our coffee break ! I bet they had been tracking us for the last hour.

Just as well Bernet has eyes in the back of her head . That's where Bush craft experience counts. You always have to remain alert. Every day has its little surprises."

Great email from Clive (I work for i-to-i by the way) Clive said 'all in all a fantastic trip' I'll post his email shortly as it's really helpful!
