About Me

I am 25 and bit of a nature girl that loves animals, children, travelling and many other things. I have done some travelling around my latest being Xi'an, China. I have also travelled Europe,Venuatu, New Caledonia, New Zealand and most of QLD Australia. I am currently working in Childcare, and after all the jobs I have had, this seems to be the place for me....I fit in well with the kids ;)

Farewell to China.....(for now)

I can not beleive how quickly 2 weeks can go! Today i smy last day in China, I am sad to say I am leaving, I have learnt so much and done so much and with the help of the i-to-i China team and my fellow volunteers it has been the best holiday I have ever had! Hi Leesa, I love your pictures!! I noticed you said you were worried about safety traveling alone before you went on your project, this is one of my fears too, how did you find it? Did you do much traveling after your project? I'd love to hear your thoughts and more about your experience xx

Hi there,
I've now been in Xi'an and at starfish for 2 weeks and I absolutely love it! Just wanted to let you know that Nic was adopted already the first week end I was here. He's got a new home in US.

No problem, well those are both great choices if you're after culture and adventure, there are loads of great projects that allow you to really get involved with the community or you can even mix and match on one of our tours! Two of the great things about travelling with a company is that there are other volunteers to make friends with and there is an in-country team to look after you while you're there. Are there are any particular projects you'd be interested in doing or getting a little more info about? Thanx for the welcome! Well, I am planning on hopefully finding a place to volunteer my time and expereince with children in either Vietnam or China for 2 weeks, lol, just a bit worried about personal safety and things like that as I have never done travelling bymyself without family or freinds.
