Hi Kath! I am going to the Dudley homestay now as I had to swap projects as there was no other volunteers living or on my project :( I will be out there from 15th August-8th Oct! When are you going again? I am doing the community work in coastal Sri Lanka! Nat x

Yeah i'm not gonna get rabies, it has to penetrate the skin for you to get it like a bite or licking on open wound, so just stay away from them, plus if you do get bit you still need to have the injection again as well as another one, the injection you get here just gives you more time to get to a hospital. so i don't really think its worth it, for how much it costs.

Yeah my profile picture doesn't help really, i managed to find you. I'm not sure what vaccinations i'm getting yet, gonna get all the free ones like hep A and tyhoid, but will already have most of them, was gonna get hep B but prob not gonna bother now, don't need yellow fever so won't be getting that, was prob gonna get the japanese encephilitis one, and will prob get malaria tablets, i thought it was quite high plus i'd rather not risk it. what did the nurse say, i haven't been yet.

Yeah it does go so fast, can't believe i'll be going into my third year next year. well i don't mind the hot food too much, but i have heard that it is pretty hot. yeah i'm on facebook, search for lewis wilkinson.

aw im doing geography aswell just now! i have to take three subjects in my 1st year. yehh im still in halls till june:)! yeh i have facebook just search for stella birney:) x

Yeah it should be good now that there is a few people, and a couple of birthdays from what i can see! I'm in my second year, doing zoology, what do you do? No haven't been traveling before, worked abroad before though in switzerland. Have you?

Yeah me too, thought I would be on my own for 8 weeks! Yeah staying in the dudley homestay, looks like there will be a few of us there at around the same time, so that should be pretty cool. I'm from bolton, but i'm at uni in liverpool, so live there most of the time. where are you from? are you at uni?
