Although I have no particular facts, I just love the colourful textiles made by the Quechan & Aymaran people. I bought as many woven goods as I could carry when in the Andean region of Peru & Boliva!

I love that the women wearing traditional clothing, big full skirts & little bowler hats; their children swaythed in a colourful tapestry, hanging off their backs between their mother's long black plaits.

PS Ifyou get a chance to witness a birdman ceremony, take it i'm certainly going to try.

Well I finally got on here, thanks for all your help. Sorry to hear you cant be in Peru at the same time as me but whenever you go I think you'll find the people amazing & warm. Remember when there to pay your respects mama Kilya & Inti & you wont go far wrong with the Quechua people. We have so much to learn from them if only we would get our collective heads out of our behinds. Still a journey starts with a single step & a message starts with one person listening, there's always hope.
