Just got your comment, we've checked with the team and if you check under 'accommodation information' on your online account, it should say that as you'll be staying in various hostels you'll need a sleeping bag and that a pillow case or blow up pillow of your own is recommended (saves space too :)). Hey, you are going to love this trip I thought it was amazing, met so many people on the way. Just like you I arrived a day early. I got in touch with Pretoria Backpackers and they picked me up from the airport for a small charge. Cant remember how much!
You will be travelling across different temperatures so take shorts and this for your trip around, comfy things for the buses and warm things for when you arrive in Cape Town.
The only other thing I can add is don't be worried! You will have an amazing time!
