Let me start by saying I am an animal lover...I love all kinds of animals but ever since relocating to South Africa to work as the i-to-i volunteer co-ordinator at the Lion Park I have completely fallen in love with these wonderfull creatures!

Lions are such sociable animals, they love to be touched, they enjoy human interaction and they are completely adorable.

From there playfull antics in the early morning while we clean enclosures and they try to steal our brooms ad rakes to there lazy afternoon sun state when they sleep peacefully together, all piled up on one another because they love to be close, even when its boiling hot outside in the midday sun!
