Hope you don't mind but I'm shamelessly begging for votes as the closing date for voting is fast approaching (in 5th place right now!) and SO many people seem to not be able to vote I need extra extra votes!!
This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. A way to make new connections, spark new possibilities, and give light and hope. A trip to expand and explore, my location and my own mind. A trip. Of a lifetime. PLEASE VOTE FOR ME!

Hi Gemma! I've just realised that I very rudely haven't replied to your comment! Anyway, yes, I'll be in Moshi from 1 August for a couple of weeks so looks like our trips overlap by a week. I'm also squeezing a few days in Zanzibar into my itinerary before going to Moshi - those beaches look awesome, don't they?! Hope you are enjoying yourself so far, see you soon! xx
Yes, very excited now! Have you met many people who will be staying in the volunteer house?
xXx
Hey! Im flying out to Mombasa next friday! I leave on the 1st August too! You staying at the volunteer house and working at the Tumaini orphanage?
xXx
Ignore them! What flights do you have? Mine were epic - Manchester - Amsterdam, Amsterdam - Nairobi, Nairobi-Mombasa in the space of 24hours. The only bit that I wasn't so sure about was the Nairobi - Mombasa changeover, you have to leave the airport, cross over a small road to the domestic departures building but it was fine. People were friendly enough but might try to hold your luggage for a tip so just hold on to it if you don't want their help and be nice about it and they'll leave you alone.
by the way have just e mailed i to i support to ask about how to go to Zanzibar onour time off so will keep you updated! x x
Ha Ha yeh i know i have had that as well i wouldnt worry it all seems really well organised! I havent had to do that course well at least i dont think i have too!? is that the teaching course i dont know if it is because i am not out there for that long or something like that did someone tell you to do it? i am getting really excited now dont really want to fly on my own so will feel better when i actually get there and meet everyone i think! do you know your accomadation? x x
Don't be nervous! Although i did love your story about the boots :) feel free to ask me about Kenya if that's what is worrying you, I've bored my immediate friends and family stupid :)
I emailed someone from the visa applications and they said most people visit Zanzibar which sounds amazing to me golden sandy beaches all the way so hopefully will be doing that. I am arriving on the 8th of August and leaving on the 22nd unfortunately short and sweet so will definately have to make the most of it! are you somewhere before Moshi or are you flying from England?
