I have been to many countries before incliding Vietnam and I really like to take more, I'm not a very young woman as well and will be happy to be your mail friend or take trips together, have you ever experienced i-to-i travels, if so let me know...I like to know if you have good experiences or not,
please be in touch,
Vida.
HI Farmergirl,
Are you still heading to the Mekong Delta to teaching in Jan? I am going to the Mekong to build housing for 3 weeks with 7 others, also we have 2 extra doing the teaching project, this is my mother and aunty. I noticed you mentioned you were older than most in here, so just letting you know a couple more 'older than mosts' will be volunteering on the same project as you around the same time :)
Hope your preparations are going well, hope to see you in VIetnam in Jan.
Hiya
Hope you don't mind but I'm shamelessly begging for votes as the closing date for voting is fast approaching (in 4th place right now!) and SO many people seem to not be able to vote I need extra extra votes!!
This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. A way to make new connections, spark new possibilities, and give light and hope. A trip to expand and explore, my location and my own mind. A trip. Of a lifetime. PLEASE VOTE FOR ME!

Hello :) I see you're going to Vietnam on your trip :) I was in Hanoi in May and had an amazing time :) If you want any tips just ask - I'm happy to talk about my trip any time!! x
Sadly I am a lot older than most in here! However this does not deter me from keeping up and doing the excting things travel offers. I travelled thru Thailand, Australia, New Zealand for three months last winter and this year decided to do something meaningful. Hence teaching english in the delta in Jan 10. Will then do Cambodia, north Vietnam, Loas, Burma and down thru Thailand, Malaysia and home via Singapore. Any tips on backpacking thru these countries will be gratefully received. Thanks Sue
Be sure to let us know how ur trip goes!
