Hope you don't mind but I'm shamelessly begging for votes as the closing date for voting is fast approaching (in 4th place right now!) and SO many people seem to not be able to vote I need extra extra votes!!
This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. A way to make new connections, spark new possibilities, and give light and hope. A trip to expand and explore, my location and my own mind. A trip. Of a lifetime. PLEASE VOTE FOR ME!

Heya - I'll be in Argentina in Jan, just before I head to Rio for my project!
Keep forgetting its going to be Mid-Summer, yea Machu Pichu will be tough! Haven't sorted anything out yet, thinking maybe go up the Amazon to Peru then work my way round to Buenos Aires :)
what you up to in Argentina? x
Do you know if we get to participate in the carnival parade? Or do we have to purchase Sambadrome tickets? Will have to inquire with i-to-i...me thinks... I'd love love love to dance in the parade!! I hear you can hire/buy a costume and dance in the parade...I dunno about those rumours...
Sweet as!! Good to hear good feedback and reviews from people who have been! I can't wait - less than 6 months away!! Excitement kicks in already!!!
A spot on the float is definately a must! not sure my Samba is up to scratch tho :S
I'm lookin to do a little tour of S. America after Rio, got ma shoestring budget guide! :) are u on a gap year too? x
Hey I'm off to Rio Jan/Feb and will be doing the Carnival too! How long u going for? x
Hi again. About your comments. I suppose with anything very exciting comes some risk. Safety in numbers , see your doc and have the shots you need and allways have condons. Don't ever listen to the " trust me!" lol. From an old bird!
Aaaarrrggg I actually have no idea where I'm staying!!! I'm off somewhere else before then so Rio still seems like a vague and distant dream...how do all you guys know about this stuff?
Hi Thanks for the advice. I'm staying in the Gloria area. Not really sure about it. I'm from South Australia. I live near the coast. I actually work with disabled children, youth and adults. Have been a nurse, years ago. I'm really looking forward to the travel and meeting the volunteers and doing new exciting things. In the next couple of weeks I will have a new grandson. That's exciting too! I'm taking some books for the children. ( light ones about animals etc) Carnival should be auesome!
