About Me
I am a vet student studying in London. I try to travel as much as uni life will allow, but want to get out there and experience something different. I'm going to Ecuador to work in Tena on an animal project in August as part of my work experience. I'm really looking forward to meeting new people and if you are planning to go to Tena at the same time let me know...or if you have already been and can tell me your experiences.
Up until I go away I will be in London to do my exams, before coming home to my village in Leicestershire to do a research project on something animal related....not sure what...maybe leave it until I meet some tapirs in Ecuador!

Hope you don't mind but I'm shamelessly begging for votes as the closing date for voting is fast approaching (in 5th place right now!) and SO many people seem to not be able to vote I need extra extra votes!!
This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. How did you know that I'm staying with Bilma's family? Did I post that? At any rate I am, and I am very excited to be in touch with you! I am not positive what the exact dates are at this point, because I'm trying to add a week to take Spanish classes. Let's stay in touch though.

Isn't that odd! Haha! I am from Rothley near Loughborough, and have just finished a Classics degree at King's College! I love working with animals so much, I wonder why I never persued being a vet, I can't wait to work with animals in the rainforests, going to be so awesome! I've travelled around quite a lot, but never done a volunteer thing like this before. I am really excited as South America and the rainforests has long been my dream destination.

Great to hear from you! I hope you are getting excited about your trip to Ecuador. Your question in fact is a bit broad ;-) What I can tell you is that the area where you are going is a great area to be.
