This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. I beg of you to vote for me more than any other competitor, because not only would I use up every single second of it to the nth degree and make the absolute most of it, I think it would make the most of me. hey u, aww so glad to hear you've only just started your course! I've STILL not started mine...so so bad! I'm the same as you though, keep telling myself it'll be ok and that I can get it all done pretty quickly! Haha whether that's true or not though...noo idea! Are you planning on finishing the whole thing before you go?? When I spoke to one of the i to i people they said that we have 6 months to do it and don't need to finish it all before getting there! I'm thinking I really wont have mine finished....or anywhere near to being finished to be honest! I've not got a visa yet either...god so unorganised! but my dad said that I can extend my stay, visa etc when I'm over there! Although I don't think he's considered how unreliable I am....! Haha probably not a good idea to trust myself finding this so called place! Anyway just realised that I'm flying 2 weeks today....crazy! I arrive on the 3rd of june...2 days early I know so will probably already be in Koh Samui when you get there! Are you excited? Also are you going to be bringing books and things along with you for the kids? Haha I am going to be THE worst teacher in the world... i can just see it! Anyway good luck with everything! haha THANK GOD! ive not started mine either.... got an online TEFL course but not even begun to think about it yet! haha so bad but thank god im not the only one...! got loads of stuff going on at the moment, uni etc... so been really busy...although to be fair im going to tenerife on monday for a week and get back 3 days before my 1st exam of this semester! haha bad times! aww im actually so excited now though to know that you guys are going there! u both from edinburgh or..? cant wait :) x

Yeah, can't believe we go next week! Left work today, so everything is go! I don't think I'll be taking books, cos otherwise I'm going to have to carry them for 3 months beforehand lol, my mum suggested like a couple of inflatable globes/footballs so I might look into that. Don't worry too much about your TEFL, just set some time aside to do a module at a time and just plow through it :). Hope you manage to get sorted! x

Hey, yes my TEFL course was really good actually! I learned a lot from the weekend course, you should definitely do that! And why aren't you going to SA this Summer?!! Come along, it's going to be awesome!

I just did the 20 hour weekend and have got the 20 hour on line grammar still to do.....will that be enuf to get me started?

Hey, you'll be fine when you're teaching! Have you done a TEFL? I did the 120 hour TEFL and that stood me in good stead, which one have you done?

Oh cool! I'm glad we've found someone else doing the project :). We're looking forward to the teaching, both a bit nervous though. We're on the last bit of our TEFL, hopefully finish it this weekend, how is yours going?
We're off in 3 weeks, going round the world for a year. It's getting so close!! So we'll be turning up in Bangkok on the 5th June for the orientation. Are you taking anything for the school?

I am sooo excited, cannot wait to get out of here, take a break from the books and get a bloody tann, sick of english weather ha!

I love travelling, but i wouldnt say i was a real experienced traveller. Iv been to Italy and Lapland - keen Snowboarder, love a bit of snow! And im going to New York next week for a study trip. And then im off to Fance for a few days just to visit a friend who has moved over there... so its a pretty hetic year for me!
Iv never done a Bungee before! Im well up for it, its it really hard to just let go and jump? Im planning to do a ski dive too in Sri Racha, thats just down the coast from Bangkok.
Ah yeah the beaches loook amaaazing, complete bliss - we're guna b in heaven! Must invest in some sort of snorkle, apprently the diving is awesome too! X

Well you must do some diving whilst you're there, Koh Samui is famous for it - the marine life is incredible and you're also likely to see some interesting creatures - Nemo, Sharks and Sea Snakes!! It's cool though!
Are you doing any volunteering or teaching whilst you're out there?
