An intriguing place, Antananarivo is all white washed buildings and steep streets. Built on the surrounding hillsides and ridges and encircled with paddy fields it’s a stark contrast to the country that unfolds beyond its limits, and it’s where travel adventures are mooted and plans laid. Out in the wild, you’ll do conservation volunteer work with volunteer projects in the many National Parks before enjoying the cool breeze of the Madagascan highlands.
