The opening up of China over the last twenty years has been great for adventure travel seekers. On this tour we combine great adventure travel with international volunteering on community volunteer projects to show you the real China.
The China train tour on the country’s legendary railway system helps you peer back into the country’s fascinating history, as well as enjoying its stunning present in the mega cities of Beijing and Shanghai. From bicycles wobbling uneasily down cobbled streets to the sprawling modernity of the mega cities of the East coast, the tour shows China’s older core and it’s modern skin. The adventure tour takes in the best of China’s rich scenery too on a trip to Xi’an, which is nestled between the dramatic Qinling Mountain Ranges.
