Adventure Travel in Cambodia

Off limits for decades, Cambodia’s dirt tracks, enchanting countryside and jungle-smothered temples may be more reachable these days, but accessibility hasn’t tarnished their natural beauty. Despite becoming a more popular destination for adventure travel, the country retains its peace and tranquility. Still waters run deep through the country and there’s plenty to explore on both our biking and humanitarian adventure tours, from ancient temples and colourful markets to emerald rice terraces.

Cambodia Gap Year Travel

Of all our adventure tours, those in Cambodia are amongst the most fascinating. You start in the bustling capital of Phnom Penh, with its mix of colonial architecture, Asian charm and cavenous side streets. You’ll then witness the stunning countryside as you travel north to the attractive market area of Siem Reap, which is the gateway to Angkor and its world famous temples, which intertwine with lush jungle plants and wildlife. A visit to a floating village rounds off your adventure tour. As in all Buddhist countries, your welcome will be warm and you’ll have the chance to mix with local Cambodians on volunteer projects in the area, where you’ll teach English to local children and help with important community volunteer work.
