Sourcing
Here at i-to-i we don’t set up our own projects, instead we work with projects that already exist, projects that have been set up by the local community for the benefit of the local community and its environment.
So how do we find these projects?
-
In-country coordinators
Part of the role of our in-country coordinators is to search for new projects. They know more than anyone else about what opportunities are available and no one is better qualified to hunt down the perfect project than them!
-
Making contacts
We attend trade fairs across the world. This is a great way to build contacts and relationships with charitable organisations. It’s also a great way to spread the good name of i-to-i so volunteer projects can come to us.

Projects coming to us
i-to-i can guarantee projects a reliable flow of volunteers and that’s exactly what they need. Our website, company literature and global reputation are constantly attracting new projects and we’re more than happy to explore the possibilities that they offer.
Once we’ve made contact with a project we have to make sure that they’re worthwhile, legitimate and suitable for our volunteers. Click here to find out how we do that.
